Hope For The Nations

Hope For The Nations is a non-profit organization with the mandate of providing hope in the lives of children 'at risk' in developing nations. These children are in dire need of assistance as they face extreme poverty, war and human trafficking. Funds raised are used to create an environment of care for these children while providing their caregivers with the essentials they need to support the community. These include programs related to education, health and entrepreneurship.

Ancient Forest Alliance

The Ancient Forest Alliance is a new British Columbian organization working to protect BC’s endangered old-growth forests and to ensure sustainable logging of second-growth forests through public education and mobilization. The organization has garnered large amounts of media coverage and significant public support since it was founded in January of 2010. Of particular note, the organization has built huge public momentum calling on the BC government to protect an endangered grove of old-growth trees it discovered, nicknamed the “Avatar Grove”, near the town of Port Renfrew on Vancouver Island.
